First scene: This scene will be featured in a parking lot. When the couple arrives at the parking lot, the camera will be angled to show the back of the car. The couple opens both their doors at the same time and walks out onto the sides of the car. The girl opens the trunk and the guy takes out a cooler from the back. She closes the trunk and they both grab onto the cooler and walk to the right which will lead them to the beach. The viewer won't see the beach, just the couple disappearing to the right. This is the establishing shot. Scene duration: 6 seconds Second scene: In this scene, the shot shows the couple walking onto the beach, still holding the cooler. this scene will be shorter than the rest, because the couple is just walking towards the beach. This is a long shot.  Scene duration: 3 seconds  Third scene:  In the third scene, the couple is at the spot where they're going to put their stuff down. They set up their chairs/towels and their umbrella and set down t...

Planning Blog Props: Since I chose to film a Coca-Cola commercial, the obvious main prop will be a Coca-Cola bottle (glass bottle).  I will also use an ice cooler to cool the bottle so it looks like a real commercial for Coca-Cola.  Costumes: I will be filming this using two individuals. One of my friends or family members and myself will be the actors in the commercial. We will most likely film the commercial at my pool or the beach, so we will probably be wear one-piece swimsuits with denim shorts to keep the costume within dress code guidelines.       Schedule: 10/23/20: I will research conventions and codes of Coca-Cola commercials, then completing the blog for it.  10/23/20: I will also be planning my props, costumes, schedule, location list, and a backup plan for my commercial, while also completing the blog for it. 10/24/20: I will create and upload storyboard blog. 10/25/20-10/27/20: These will be days that I can film my commercial and to edit it al...

Research: Commercial Conventions and Codes I'm going to be working on a Coca-Cola commercial. In this brand's commercials, the audience usually sees a Coca-Cola bottle (glass bottle, can, or plastic bottle). Props include Coca-Cola bottles, ice, and the carbonated water that appears when opening a bottle.  Individuals that appear in the commercials are usually dressed like normal people, nothing fancy. Coca-Cola is really good at including very diverse (ethnicity and race) people in their commercials. It's supposed to represent that anyone can drink Coca-Cola.    The common sounds in Coca-Cola commercials are the bottle opening, the sizzle when someone opens a bottle, and the "ahhh" sound after a person drinks it. This is known as diegetic sound because the sound effects are added while editing to sound more exaggerated.  Conventions and codes in Coca-Cola commercials include the obvious Coca-Cola bottle, and also the slogan "TASTE THE FEELING". Another ...
