Storyboard Blog

First scene:

This scene will be featured in a parking lot. When the couple arrives at the parking lot, the camera will be angled to show the back of the car. The couple opens both their doors at the same time and walks out onto the sides of the car. The girl opens the trunk and the guy takes out a cooler from the back. She closes the trunk and they both grab onto the cooler and walk to the right which will lead them to the beach. The viewer won't see the beach, just the couple disappearing to the right. This is the establishing shot.

Scene duration: 6 seconds


Second scene:

In this scene, the shot shows the couple walking onto the beach, still holding the cooler. this scene will be shorter than the rest, because the couple is just walking towards the beach. This is a long shot. 

Scene duration: 3 seconds 


Third scene: 

In the third scene, the couple is at the spot where they're going to put their stuff down. They set up their chairs/towels and their umbrella and set down the cooler which is opened showing the Coca-Cola bottle. They sit on the chairs/towels but realize they want to go into the ocean so they start to walk towards the ocean. this will be a mid-shot but at an angle.

Scene duration: 6 seconds  


Fourth scene: 

Now in this scene, the couple is in the ocean throwing water at each other and having fun. They are using a lot of energy which will be good for when they come out to drink a Coca-Cola. This will either be long shot or a mid-shot. 

Scene duration: 4 seconds 


Fifth scene:

In this scene, the couple runs up from the water onto the sand where their towels and cooler are. The guy reaches for a coke bottle and it's "magically" already open, so he takes a sip and hand it to the girl so she can take a sip also. This shot will be a close-up.

Scene duration: 8 seconds


Sixth scene:

In the last scene, The background will be a the waves and the main focus will be a Coca-Cola bottle that the guy places on the sand. The water on the outside of the bottle will be dripping down. Then, the bottle will turn into the logo of Coca-Cola and it will say on the left side, "Together tastes better", and on the right side it will say "#2020". This scene will also be a close up. 

Scene duration: 3 seconds

TiK ToK (Music Video)

"TiK ToK"  For the music video project, I was actually really excited, but I had many questions. What song am I going to choose? How do I want to film it? Do I want more people in the video or just myself? What would I wear in the video? What props would I use? I had many more questions but I had to think quickly. I ended up choosing a song called "TiK ToK" by Kesha. I chose this song because I needed to choose a song that I knew the lyrics to, and I can never go wrong with a 2000s song. I posted my intro blog on November 13th. This blog was all about my song choice and if I was planning to film with anyone else. Then a few days later I started researching the pop music genre. I posted my research blog on November 16th. The day after, I posted my planning blog. This blog was about my filming schedule, my props, and my costumes. Production Blog: Filming is complete, now continuing to edit

These past few days have been really productive in regards to my film. I finished filming all of my remaining scenes over the past two days. I did this on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday, I went to the beach to film the driving scenes. I have a couple scenes that take place in my car, so I had to film a lot of angles and views. I went to the beach with my mom, because some of the clips don't take place inside of the car. She drove my car, while I filmed. She doesn't know how to film, so since the clips were from far away, you can't tell who's driving the car. On Wednesday, I filmed the scenes that take place at my house. Either in the driveway or inside. I was waiting until Wednesday to film these scenes because I didn't have the props for them until earlier this week. I used a cardboard box for one scene.
