Filming for my Music Video: Part Two

On Wednesday, December 2nd, I refilmed the first few clips for my music video. I also filmed the rest of the clips that I needed. I decided to refilm the first few clips that I had filmed on the 30th because I didn't like the lighting of them because I filmed them when the sun was setting. This time, I filmed during the day. Once my online classes for school were over for the day, I began to set up all of my props and equipment. I opened up my laptop and pulled up the song so I could sing-along to the lyrics at the correct speed. I started by setting up my tripod next to my bed. I then screwed on a ring light to the top of the tripod so I could have good lighting. Finally, I decided to use my cellphone to film because it's just a lot faster to get the scene correct. I filmed every scene in order again because I needed my transitions to work together and make sense. The first two scenes were filmed in my bed. I filmed the third scene in my bathroom and I used a toothbrush. The fourth scene was filmed at the entrance of my entrance. The fifth scene was filmed at my vanity using nail polish. The sixth and seventh scenes were filmed next to my closet. The eighth scene was filmed in front of my windows and I was wearing headphones and I had CDs in my hand. The ninth and tenth scenes were filmed in my living room and I used two water bottles in the tenth scene. The eleventh scene was filmed outside of my car and the last two scenes were filmed inside of my car. The transitions from one scene to the next range from head movements, walking out of the view, or even a water bottle covering the screen. I made a few changes from what I had originally planned in my storyboard, but I overall really enjoyed filming the music video. I also edited my music video the same day, but I'll talk more about it in my next blog.
