Planning for my Music Video

TiK ToK by Kesha Music Video Planning 

Props:

Some props that I will be using are my bed, my car, some sunglasses, a toothbrush, nail polish, my closet, a cellphone. I will also use a tripod with my camera. 

Costumes:

I will most likely be wearing the same outfit the entire time. It will be jeans, a tank top, and some sandals or converse. 

Schedule:

November 13th: On Friday, I did my introduction blog. I wrote about if I was working with anyone or if I was working by myself. I also wrote about the reasoning behind it. I also wrote about which song I wanted to create a music video with. I went into detail on why I really like the song too.    

November 16th: On Monday, I did my research blog. I researched everything about the song and about the genre of the song. I wrote about what pop music is and how people react to it. I also compared pop music from ten years ago to now.  

November 17th: On Tuesday, which is today, I'm doing my planning blog. I'm basically planning everything I need for my music video. I wrote about what props I will be needing and costumes. I also wrote about what I'm going to do each day. Then, I talked about where I'm planning to film my music video. Finally, I came up with a backup plan just in case it rain or something like that.

November 18th-20th: On these few days, I'm going to create my storyboard. I will draw out each scene that I plan on doing when I film. I will also create a blog about that process.  

November 21st-29th: During Thanksgiving break, I will film my music video. I doubt I will need all week to do it. I will edit my music video too so I won't have to worry about it when we come back to school.

November 30th: On this Monday, I will do a filming blog. I will write about everything I filmed and how the filming process was. 

December 3rd: On this Thursday, I will do an editing blog. I will write about how the editing process went.   

December 7th: On this Monday, I will write either another editing blog or a filming blog. 

December 8th: On this day, I will submit my music video and write about the entire process and how it went. 

Location:

Some of the first few scenes for the music video with be filmed in my bedroom. The next scenes will be filmed around my apartment. Then, my driveway will be used to film one or two scenes. After that, I will film a few scenes in either the street, Wynwood Walls, or a photoshoot studio in the Wynwood area.  

Backup Plan:

If it rains, I won't be able to film some of the scenes outdoors. If it does rain, I will film those scenes at my friend's house cause she has a nice backyard. If that does not work either, I will just find a good outdoor place with a roof.

TiK ToK (Music Video)

"TiK ToK"  For the music video project, I was actually really excited, but I had many questions. What song am I going to choose? How do I want to film it? Do I want more people in the video or just myself? What would I wear in the video? What props would I use? I had many more questions but I had to think quickly. I ended up choosing a song called "TiK ToK" by Kesha. I chose this song because I needed to choose a song that I knew the lyrics to, and I can never go wrong with a 2000s song. I posted my intro blog on November 13th. This blog was all about my song choice and if I was planning to film with anyone else. Then a few days later I started researching the pop music genre. I posted my research blog on November 16th. The day after, I posted my planning blog. This blog was about my filming schedule, my props, and my costumes. Production Blog: Filming is complete, now continuing to edit

These past few days have been really productive in regards to my film. I finished filming all of my remaining scenes over the past two days. I did this on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday, I went to the beach to film the driving scenes. I have a couple scenes that take place in my car, so I had to film a lot of angles and views. I went to the beach with my mom, because some of the clips don't take place inside of the car. She drove my car, while I filmed. She doesn't know how to film, so since the clips were from far away, you can't tell who's driving the car. On Wednesday, I filmed the scenes that take place at my house. Either in the driveway or inside. I was waiting until Wednesday to film these scenes because I didn't have the props for them until earlier this week. I used a cardboard box for one scene.
