Starting the Final Task

Hello, my name is Paulina Moreno. I'm in twelfth grade and I'm heading to college in the fall of 2021. I was originally born in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, but I've moved a lot since then. I've lived in many parts of Mexico, and also in Georgia and Florida, here in the United States. I've never really stayed in one place for too long, but that's what makes my life so fun. Everything I have experienced in the past has made me into the person I am today. My life is kind of like a movie, there are many ups and downs that shape the character into the person they are. That's why I love Media Studies. I want to learn how movies are created and all the different things that are incorporated into the film industry. I also want to learn how movies from other countries are made because I used to live in another country and movies are really different there. For the final task assignment, I decided to work by myself. Because COVID-19 is still a big problem in the United States, I haven't had an in-person class, and it's already February. I still haven't met anyone in my class, so I wouldn't know who to choose to be in a group with. Also because of COVID-19, I didn't want to interact with new people and have to film with them because I wouldn't know if they've been around more people. I have a close group of friends that I have been seeing, so I will most likely ask them to help me and be part of my film. I normally never work alone, but honestly, I've grown to love it. I don't have to worry about anyone else getting their assignments done or not being able to film. I get everything done on time and my grades have been a lot better than when I used to work with other people. I love coming up with my own ideas so it's perfect in my opinion. Also, filming and editing without having someone else's opinion makes me love it even more.
