What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?

The titles that are displayed in the opening sequence are "Twentieth Century Fox" and "A Bazmark Production". Also, "In Fair Verona" is shown. Then, a family tree of the Montagues and the Capulets is shown. A bunch of newspaper articles pops us as well. Then, they show clips of the characters' faces, their names in the film, and who they are in relation to Romeo and Juliet. Then, the sequence shows the title of the movie, "Romeo and Juliet".   

What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?

The image that we see in the opening sequence is a tv screen showing a woman on the news talking about a pair of "star-crossed lovers" who took their lives. Then, it zooms in and flashes a clip of town. The screen shows the words "In Fair Verona". A city appears on the screen again. Then, a family tree of the Montagues and the Capulets is shown. A bunch of newspaper articles pops us as well. Then, they show clips of the characters' faces, their names in the film, and who they are in relation to Romeo and Juliet. Then, the sequence shows the title of the movie, "Romeo and Juliet".     

What connotations do these images carry?

The connotation of the sequence is that everything happened so fast, kind of like the love story between Romeo and Juliet. They were young, but they knew that they wanted to be together. Whether it was dead or alive.  

How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?

The movie is a romantic drama, and the opening sequence definitely shows that. They show a very hectic sequence of violence and heartbreak. 

What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience?

The strategies used were that they showed a teenage couple, wanting to be together. They went against their parent's rules, which is what most kids do when their teenagers. 

How has technology been used effectively? Consider camera angles, transitions, and editing techniques.  

The technology was used for the making of the sequence. They used a lot of animation to take their ideas to the real thing. They created all of the titles using technology. They also edited those news articles and clips to make them seem real.

TiK ToK (Music Video)

"TiK ToK"  For the music video project, I was actually really excited, but I had many questions. What song am I going to choose? How do I want to film it? Do I want more people in the video or just myself? What would I wear in the video? What props would I use? I had many more questions but I had to think quickly. I ended up choosing a song called "TiK ToK" by Kesha. I chose this song because I needed to choose a song that I knew the lyrics to, and I can never go wrong with a 2000s song. I posted my intro blog on November 13th. This blog was all about my song choice and if I was planning to film with anyone else. Then a few days later I started researching the pop music genre. I posted my research blog on November 16th. The day after, I posted my planning blog. This blog was about my filming schedule, my props, and my costumes. Production Blog: Filming is complete, now continuing to edit

These past few days have been really productive in regards to my film. I finished filming all of my remaining scenes over the past two days. I did this on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday, I went to the beach to film the driving scenes. I have a couple scenes that take place in my car, so I had to film a lot of angles and views. I went to the beach with my mom, because some of the clips don't take place inside of the car. She drove my car, while I filmed. She doesn't know how to film, so since the clips were from far away, you can't tell who's driving the car. On Wednesday, I filmed the scenes that take place at my house. Either in the driveway or inside. I was waiting until Wednesday to film these scenes because I didn't have the props for them until earlier this week. I used a cardboard box for one scene.
