Production Blog: Making some progress

In the past few days, I have been able to make some progress on my film. I filmed the scenes with my parents. In the film, both of my parents play Alex's parents. They are in two scenes total. They are in scenes three and four. In scene three, Alex confronts her parents about the "For Sale" sign in her front yard. She's very puzzled by it in the second scene. So, in scene three, she comes inside her apartment. Her parents greet her, but she's not into it. She immediately changes the subject. She asks if the sign outside is the neighbor's or if it is actually for them. They tell her that it's there's and that they're going to move soon. She's literally so surprised because she didn't even know her dad was looking for a different job. She stormed out of the living room and went into her room. The next scene is scene four. In this scene, Alex begins to pack a few of her things in a box. She then texts her friend, Ava. they make a plan to meet up at the beach to talk. Her parents appear again when Alex is about to leave. She tells her mom that she's leaving to go hang out with Ava. I was able to film these two scenes, so I feel pretty good about where I'm at. I can also begin to edit the two scenes, so I can stay on track to finish before my deadline.
