What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?

The images that we see in the opening sequence are colorful pictures of all of the titles of the people involved in creating the film. The sequences also have designs on them, The font that is used also gives me Asian vibes. By Asian vibes, I mean like Kung Fu Panda style. So, I can tell that the movie is about Asians.

What connotations do these images carry?

The connotation of the sequence is that the sort of fancy style is what the movie is about. The movie is about a normal girl, who meets this insanely rich man. She meets his family and is in awe of the life that they live.

How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?

The beginning sequence shows not too much, but just a little. The small scene of the woman playing poker shows how intense the movie is going to be. Poker is a very thrilling and unpredictable game. Kind of like poker,  a relationship is unpredictable and thrilling.

What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience?

The strategies used were that they show little scenes of actual people. They did this because they want to show what the girl knows about the guy's family, which is very little.

How has technology been used effectively? Consider camera angles, transitions, and editing techniques.
