When I went on the website, Watch the Titles, there were many different articles and videos to watch. There were four tabs at the top with options to either see title sequences, designers, studios and then search. On the title sequences tab, there were options that said feature films, tv shows, event titles, student projects, video games, and french Fridays. I clicked on feature films and watched a few videos. I noticed that they were all different from each other. Not one opening title scene is the same. I never really paid too much attention to the title scenes of movies. From watching videos and looking through more stuff on the website, I realized that each title represented something special about the movie, and sort of gave a sneak peek at what the film was going to look like. I want my title to have a good representation of what my film is about. I want the watcher to want to continue to watch the rest of the film, from just seeing the title and the title beginning scene.  ...

When I went on the website, Art of the Title, there were many different articles and videos to watch. There were two tabs at the top right with options to either see title sequences and designers and studios. On the title sequences tab, a bunch of articles and videos appeared for you to click on. On the designers and studios tab, a big list of names came up. I wasn't familiar with any of the names on the list, so I began to look at a few of them. I have never really paid too much attention to the titles of movies. I also never really thought so much went into creating the title of a movie. I think it's amazing how much detail and trial and error goes into drawing and creating a title. For my final task, I'm going to create a title with either pastel colors, or bright vibrant colors. I want my title to have a good representation of what my film is about.          

What elements of the genre, that you chose to base your final task on, does this movie have? Some elements that are in the movie, To All the Boys I've Loved Before, that I want in my film are some aspects of the plot. The unexpectedness of the relationship between Peter and Lara Jean is amazing. Considering that my film is about two best friends, a guy and a girl, that end up liking each other, is unexpected too. I also like how it's teens in high school. It makes the film more relatable to individuals that are in the same age range as me.      What elements of the genre did the movie have that you like? I like how unexpected the movie was. Lara Jean writes letters to her crushes, but never sends them. Her little sister mails them, thinking that's what Lara Jean wanted. Now with all of the guys confronting her about the letters that she wrote years ago, she panics. She ends up kissing one of the guys, Peter, to avoid Josh which was her sister's ex.
